Installation and configuration of the RUS Kvant system

The demonstration version of the System is deployed on a test server and is available at: demo.quant.testserver.myenvy.ru/auth/login

The web server and the database server can be combined on a single dedicated server. PostgreSQL can be used as the DBMS.

Server‑side requirements:
− Processor: 8 cores, clock speed 2.3 GHz;
− RAM: 23 GB;
− Hard drive: 31 GB SSD + 3.6 TB iSCSI.
For remote maintenance, monitoring, and prompt incident resolution, the Customer shall provide the Contractor with 24/7 secure remote access to the above computing resources.
On the above computing resources, the Customer shall perform the initial OS installation and carry out network configurations as required by the Contractor (including providing Internet access during software installation). The Contractor shall select, install, and ensure the operation of the System’s software.
To ensure the operation of the above computing resources, the Customer shall maintain uninterrupted operation of the server equipment, protected by access control systems, air conditioning, and backup power supply.
Installation of the server‑side software includes:
− Deployment of the web server;
− Deployment of the database;
− Populating the System’s directories with basic values;
− Configuration of basic roles and users;
− Configuration of basic document templates.
For client machines connected to the servers via remote access through the Web interface, the following requirements apply:
− Processor with a clock speed of 1 GHz;
− RAM: 512 MB;
− Hard drive: 15 GB;
− Browser: Google Chrome, Yandex Browser, Mozilla Firefox 16 (or higher), Safari.

No additional software needs to be installed on the client workstation to access the system.
